Hello there!
Hello! I'm Kelly, a British Beauty Professional with over 15 years experience of physically working in the beauty industry and 7 years more in the social beauty world. In my opinion, nothing prepares you or gives you an insight into the beauty world more than starting on the shop floor ... it shapes you and is where my beauty career started.
I currently live in the South of France, Monaco, Monte-Carlo as I moved here after leaving the UK in 2010 many years ago. Professionally I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist, Make-up Artist, Lash Perfect Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extension Specialist, Skincare Specialist & Trained Facialist.
Let's go back; My love affair with beauty began very early as I always wanted to be a make-up artist from age 5 which I put down to my Nan and my Mum never neglecting their beauty regimes. Leaving school with good grades, I went to College where I studied Business Studies & Business Administration for 2 years and worked as a P.A. before venturing into the Beauty World where my heart and passion truly were. I began working for the luxury skincare brand La Prairie where I then spent 6 years working very happily as a Facialist and Account Manager.
Then came the time when I needed to spread my wings so I went into management for popular London store Space NK. I trained furthermore in make-up artistry as I had the opportunity to gain some amazing training with some top make-up brands including Laura Mercier, Shu Uemura, ByTerry (where I was a ByTerry Ambassador), Chantecaille, Nars and many more popular skincare brands. Further to this I then trained in Lash Perfect Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions which soon became a new passion.
After a total life change relocating to Monaco, I decided to set up my own freelance/mobile beauty business, KELLiLASH (Kelly + iLash = KELLiLASH was born!). Alongside this, I started writing my very own beauty blog as a hobby on the side but has since become a whole lot more. After a few years, I took time out from my mobile business after a fantastic run and put all my focus into writing this blog. Hence I became a blogger/content creator, combining my love for business, beauty and writing to create something special, a place that I hope shall really benefit many of you reading right now.
I strive to write about beauty with love and honesty, openly sharing my personal tips, product reviews, and the latest trends in this vast and ever-evolving industry.
