When it comes to new launches from By Terry, you will know if you are a regular around here that they always end up becoming a staple and a favourite of mine each and every time. Most recently we saw the launch of the latest CC Palette which is a new take on last year's edition. Prior to this, there was also the launch of the Hyaluronic Hydra Concealer and the Hyaluronic Global Face Cream … both of which are sure staples in my daily routine.

The palette is so versatile; you can use it with a powder brush all over the face to enhance your complexion or just use it for a more sculpted look. The shades all look amazing on the eyes as well as the face and cheeks! It really does compliment all skin tones which is the real beauty of these palettes. 

If you saw my review of last years Sunny Flash edition, you will know how much I loved it and still do as I use it still to this day and have a backup so I don't run out! You can see below the two editions next to one another; you'll see that Sunny Flash is slightly less intense in shades whereas Beach Bomb really packs a warmer punch (full Sunny Flash review here). 

I love how soft and how pigmented the CC powders are as they really do last a long while. They just seem to add this soft focus to the skin like no other powder does. The scent of a rose and the stunning compact just adds to the beauty even more. Oh and if you wear this with the famous CC Serum,  you will have the best summer glow of your life! Remember this is Limited Edition so act fast.

The Results

I love that Terry chose to formulate this in the original pen style like the Touche Veloute Concealer as that was always one of my favourites. I think this just radiates that it is Terry's brand. It is sleek, stylish and so easy to use and especially even more so on the go. I can actually sit between both shades here so they really are adaptable depending on the amount of brightening that you want on your skin. Shade 100 gives me more of a highlighted look whereas Shade 200 is more of a natural effect and my favourite. 

I actually attended a live training session with Terry herself where she explained the reason for the brush applicator was so that you could massage the product into the eye solely with the wand itself. The formula is so lightweight and creamy that you really can feel that this is a high percentage of skincare. The creamy texture definitely helps to make you look more awake as well as treat the area around the eye as well as having that immediate brightening effect. The coverage itself is fairly light and natural-looking but it is buildable, but a plus of this is that you don't get any caking or creasing around the eye area. I would suggest that even though there is a lot of skincare in this formulation that you still use your eye cream underneath.

As well as the eyes, it is also fantastic to use on your face and you can in fact just use this as your base if you didn't want to wear a foundation maybe on a good skin day you could most definitely get away with just wearing this. I just love it, what more can I say other than 'try it!'.

The Results 

After listening to Terry speak about creating this cream, I was more than excited to try it and from the first drop onto my skin ... it was love. I know this may sound corny, but it really was. The reason it impressed me so much from the first try was because it instantaneously evened out my skin, given me this natural, healthy glow where the need for makeup was there quite minimal as I didn't want to ruin the effect of the cream on my skin. I even sent a selfie to a friend who was debating it because I was so impressed! 

Packaging; the glass jar adds to the luxury feel and the lightweight clean, white cream (almost gel-like) feels so cooling and soothing. It is soft and silky with no heavy feel and makes a great base for makeup. 

I love that Terry designed this cream with ease in mind; wanting a product that can be used as your day cream, your eye cream, your serum and night cream ... ie and all-round moisturiser and it gives you the choice to use it as you want! The powerhouse of ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid, Squalene and Niacinamide is a dream when it comes to keeping your skin happy. I personally like to use mine as a daily moisturiser alongside my other serums and eye creams but say you were in a hurry or just wanted one product, then you would most definitely be able to do it with this cream. It simply is a magical cocktail of ingredients that instantly will smooth and plump your skin and just give it this really lovely hydrated glow, making lines look less obvious for certain. 

I honestly cannot recommend this enough and if you are looking for a new moisturiser for the Summer months, then make it this one. I do in fact think that this is my favourite launch out of them all, and the completion is high, but this for me, has been a god send to use and I will be backing it up with a next purchase.
