Votary London is a skincare brand I rate very highly. I fell in love with them from the first try of a facial oil and have since gone on to try more products, and coincidentally this month the fabulous Mintd Box have collaborated with Votary to create a collection that is essentially an entire skincare routine in a box. This is why I wanted to speak about them some more as a brand and introduce you to some products that may just slot nicely into your existing skincare routine.

Votary London create the most luxurious, high end plant oils that give you amazing anti-aging benefits without sitting on top of the skin like a lot of mineral oils can. This Chia and Parsley Seed Cleansing Oil feels so lovely and rich yet doesn't feel too heavy to easily remove all traces of makeup and SPF. This is my kind of broccoli I tell you! I love serums and although my skin isn't too sensitive, I have found it to become more reactive when I am hormonal and feel this is a huge help. I am thinking this will be a godsend for eczema sufferers as the soothing properties will be a huge comfort and relief to really sensitive skins and remember serums work a lot faster than moisturisers, so this would be one to definitely add into your skincare regime if you struggle and are sensitive to change.

Use on its own or for extra goodness on top of your facial oil, as it helps to create a layered barrier between your face and the world. 

This was one product I was most excited to try and it hasn't disappointed. The look of its creamy, gorgeous texture was just calling out to me. Not only does this leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated but it has a soft matte finish which I didnt expect. There are not many matte creams on the market, its usally a lotion texture and I never feel you get that comfort feel with a lotion so this really is gem of a find. It has zero fragrance although I secretly want it to smell all comforting but thats me, a scent addict! It is so nourishing and if your skin ever feels fragile then this will be your comfort blanket and in any climate too being matte! If you are super sensitive and struggle with your makeup not sitting right on your skin then this will make a pefect primer to help it settle and sit better yet keep your skin happy. There is no slip which makes this ideal for many of us to be fair! This really is a sensitive skin types, dream cream.

Stress, no sleep and life changes can cause issues like dryness, redness and loss of elasticity and pregnancy and the menopause also unsettle skin badly. This is when you need to add in a facial oil and Super Seed will give you back that glow with out upsetting it even more so. Pumpkin seed oil is high in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, making it intensely hydrating for skin; Hemp seed oil works to increase the skin’s elasticity and to minimise fine lines and wrinkles; Meadowfoam seed oil is deeply moisturising and helps to balance oil production. 

Just take 4/5 drops of the oil and warm it in your palms and smooth over face and neck. Votary Oils have the most perfect texture where they are not too rich yet manage to really nourish and get to work. Each time I use any Votary treatment oil, my skin feels brand new. I adore their Jasmine and Calendula Oil of which I need to re-purchase soon as that is total magic on my skin when it needs some TLC! I adore facial oils anyway as they really are an integral part of an effective skincare routine in my opinion and Votary most definitely come top when it comes to me recommending good facial oils. They aren't cheap but you do pay for what you get plus Votary do sell smaller sizes that are very cost-effective and you will never regret the try.

I also have to add that their Jasmine and Calendula Facial oil (normal/oily skins) is one of my absolute favourite skin oils to date. It is calming, soothing, hydrating and healing and is my little secret weapon to keeping my skin happy. Oh and scent is the dream. The formulation is so lightweight that the oil absorbs fast and makes great for under makeup too. There is a Facial Oil for every concern and Votary oils never clog pores and they do as they say they will; hence they are worth every penny. Oh and they last ages as a few drops go a long way!

Votary London Intense Night Oil Rosehip & Retinoid | 50ml £135 (buy here) 

Votary Intense Night Oil combines rosehip and retinoid to smooth texture, even-out tone, work on fine lines and give younger, plumper-looking skin. This oil encourages the skin’s natural turnover of cells and reduces the breakdown of collagen, meaning you wake with firmer, smoother skin, using rose oil, nourishing avocado oil, tomato seed oil and rosehip oil. These luxurious natural ingredients work with the rosehip and retinoid to nurture, nourish and restore the skin.

Now this really is luxury, quality ingredients bought together in a facial oil. There is nothing more comforting than using a Facial Oil in the evening as it sets the scene of winding down. This particular oil is designed more for those skins showing signs of age. I am quite wary of 'retinol and retinoids' and choose what I use wisely as my skin is not always a fan but this one, I am absolutely fine with. It is always best to use oils like this one every other night just so your skin can acclimatise to the ingredients but using this alongside the Super Seed range will help even more. The rose scent is a dream as anything rose scented usually has me all in love but this is a perfect combination. This is a great choice of oil if you are needing help with things like texture, tone and lines etc as it will do a lot for your skin being more high powered. I need to use it some more to see what long term results it gives but as I've said before, Votary oils are little bottles of magic.

Now this is my kind of 5 a day I tell you! All of the products within the Super Seed Collections obviously all have an instant effect on the skin and you notice results instantly yet the more you use them the more long term benefits you will see, like with any skincare. Having used the brand before I have seen the long term benefits on my own skin and really trust in the brand. Votary have such a great product line, designed to work on all skin concerns and conditions so even if the Super Seed isn't quitewhat you need, then they will surely have what you do.

I just love them, their oils are just magical and the brand is one of the best out there when it comes to luxury, clean beauty.
