That Iconic French brand that is Caudalie have created a NEW Anti-Aging Suncare Collection, (hurrah!) so I felt very excited about this launch being the SPF advocate that I am. I love Caudalie products so it was highly likely I was going to love this launch so I wanted to tell you all about what makes this sun range different to other sun brands out there.

As you may or may not know, Caudalie is a clean, green brand. They are environmentally friendly, vegan, cruelty free and contain 0% nasties i.e. zero parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, sodium laureth sulphate, mineral oils and anything of animal origin ... so you really don't get a brand anymore committed than this. They have a wonderful history should you want to know more here and a Spa that is still on my wish list to visit.

I continuously recommend Caudalie as a brand through my blog and IG because I genuinely love them and more importantly actually use them! I currently use at least one Caudalie product in my daily routine like Eau de Beaute Spray, Premier Cru Serum, various moisturisers and now SPF!
I was kindly sent over (*gifted) a few things from the line to try which was perfect timing seeing as we are having a monstrous heatwave here in the South of France, although I would not go a day without wearing an SPF. We all know the importance of SPF (well, I hope) so I won't lecture you or tell you off ... I'll save that for another time.
I have never openly really spoken about my own personal experience in having the most serious case of Skin Cancer (malignant melanoma) some many years ago now and what happened to me as to be fair, it can be quite hard to discuss as it was a major part of my life and shall always be. Maybe that personal post is to come.

As you can see the range is simple, easy to use and clear to understand with a choice of two high SPF's and I am so glad to see that the minimum level is SPF30 as this is a standard nowadays as I hope the days are gone where people still believe that you get a better tan the lower spf you use .... thank god we can put that myth to bed!
Most of us opt for a SPF50 for the face (I sure do!) as UVA/UVB is the biggest anti-ageing factor so a 50 is always the better choice. I am over the moon with what Caudalie have created as here in the South of France you will rarely find any SPF under 30 .... which is safe sun sense.

I was sent (*gifted) the Anti-wrinkle Face Suncare SPF50, Beautyifying Suncare Oil SPF30 and Vinoperfect Radiance Serum to try out as I was super keen to see what the textures would be like especially as I am fussy with my suncare I will admit. I hate the feeling of knowing it is on my skin so I want to be protected without any heavy feel which I why I tend for opt for mists on my body but then again my body needs the hydration ..... so let's see!

This spray oil is rich and nourishing yet lovely and lightweight to give a dry finish to your skin that leaves it looking really hydrated and radiant. Super easy to use as you simply spray, rub in and your good to go, hence no messy or sticky application! The biggest plus is the scent; oh my god it is a Frangipani dream! If like me you are obsessed with anything that uses Frangipani flowers then you'll need this as it just summer 'safely' bottled!
I am not usually an SPF oil fan but this is in a league of it's own so I am now using it as a daily body moisturiser because it is truly superb being so hydrating and simply makes me smell amazing all day! Ideally I do prefer to use an SPF50 on my body given my medical history but this is great for days when I am home and not really out and about in the sun but I know I am protected should I then be in the sun as I wear sunscreen regardless of where I am. I would like to try the Milky Sun Spray SPF50, so I will grab that one from my local Pharmacy to see how it compares.
Another plus is that this is 'water-resistent' not 'waterproof' which is what you should always look for when buying sunscreen as this prevents prickly heat. With it's anti-ageing and high protection whilst looking after nature benefits, this really is a winner for summer. I think it's well priced as suncare is not cheap today yet is also something you should never scrimp on either. You can't put a price on good skin health.
In short ... this is anti-aging, hydrating, non-greasy, gives maximum protection for a long lasting tan that is safe for your skin and nature ... and smells incredible! This is totally worth the buy.

A light and creamy moisturiser that is very hydrating yet non-sticky so fits in perfectly with other skincare products. This is not just a high sun protection but one that is anti-ageing to help with lines and wrinkles whilst safe guarding against further skin damage. Again, safe and nasty free and good to nature.
When it comes to protecting my face, I usually use a dry mist spray SPF50 but it's nice to have another option now should my skin be needing more hydration in the form of a cream so I was again very excited to try this one out. I wasn't quite as keen on the smell of this one compared to the oil but does still have a feint Frangipani scent but not as much as the oil (sadly!) yet it won't be too overpowering to apply to your face. As far as application is concerned, you may want to go by your skin type or simply how it is feeling that day. Being a normal/slight combination myself, I like to use this one as my daily moisturiser over a serum but dry skins may prefer to use it with a moisturiser but it is very easy to judge once you feel the texture, you just need to make sure you reapply regardless should you be exposed to the sun. A perfect daily SPF for all ages and an affordable price too.
In short ... this is a perfect hydrating, non sticky, high protection, anti-aging moisturiser that will make sure your skin is fully protected yet looking after nature at the same time by contributing towards keeping our oceans protected.

This serum is in fact a cult classic because of how effective it can be in transforming your skin. For skin such as mine, this serum brightens to give you a clearer complexion and a healthy looking skin which I am all for! I cannot recommend it enough should you be looking for high end affordable skincare solutions that guarantees you will see results.

Whether you are at the beach, walking the dog or sitting in your back garden you must remember to reapply your SPF. If you are out in direct sunlight and exposing your skin fully to the sun then you really should be re-applying every 2 hours as sunscreen does wear down so don't fall into the trap of getting sunburnt because you applied SPF50 at 9am then that was it. Plus these products are so lovely, you'll want to reapply them anyhow!
As I expected, Caudalie have more added even more innovative products to their line with this new generation of suncare that was worth the years of research behind it. The collection is simple, easy to use, non-greasy, luxurious, kind to nature and most importably highly protective and anti-aging to our skin. Definitely ideal for all ages, (children included) and skin types, unisex and really affordable for a high end sun-care line that delivers more than just SPF.
Take it from me, for someone who has gone through the bad and come out the other side when it comes to skin cancer, I for one feel very safe with these products and I only have a few brands that make me feel this safe, and now there is another.
