Monthly Beauty Favourites |
So November went by in the blink of an eye don't you think?! For me it was a busy month and my usual beauty suspects were changed about a bit as I went back in time to the summer with a trip to Dubai then spent the end of the month in bed with the flu but some key players did stand out this month in terms of skincare and makeup, so without further a do let me tell you what they were!
Bioderma Hydrabio Eau de Soin spf 30 |
1. Bioderma Hydrabio Eau de Soin SPF 30, Anti-UV Mist link!
Bioderma have come up tops with this product as it truly is one of kind, a sunscreen water - yes you heard correctly, a sunscreen water that gives you spf 30 protection. This makes applying sunscreen a doddle leaving no excuses as to not to protect yourself. It's an oil free super light weight water formula that can be used as a makeup setting spray after you do your makeup then over the top for touch ups or to refresh the skin. It can also be misted onto the body too should you need. It is incredible. I mean for one you can hardly feel it when misted onto your skin being that fine and doesn't ruin your makeup one bit as I used this in Dubai everyday and held everything in place perfectly. This works as more of an everyday SPF rather than a 'full on at the beach sunbathing' sunscreen being a fine water mist as opposed to a cream. The bad news is that I think for the time being it's only available in France but coming into Europe gradually so I would highly recommend targeting this if you can get your hands on it as here in France its super cheap too (€7.99!) for such a unique and wonderful product.
Chanel Signe Particulier Eyeshadow Quad |

2. Chanel Signe Particulier Eyeshadow Quad, from the Rouge Noir Collection link!
No star product list of mine is complete without a Chanel product hey?! Chanel have just been so constant in producing some stunning products this year and are in general such an incredible brand all round and one that I always highly recommend. You would have seen me post about this stunning eyeshadow quad on my Instagram from the latest Rouge Noir Collection. If you didn't know, Rouge Noir is the red/black nail shade that Chanel made famous and for the first time to compliment the nail shade, Chanel have launched an entire makeup collection around it. As you can gather it is many dark berry tones that may not be to everyones taste but this eyeshadow quad is simply stunning. It's a quad that would suit everyone used in different ways. A perfect holiday palette for a smoky berry, gold toned eye and I cannot wait to play about with it as being a newbie purchase I had to include it as I haven't stopped staring at it since I bought it. I did also pick up one of the lipsticks too (as above #347) in a beautiful matte bright, berry tone that I cannot wait to wear. Be quick if you fancy this one as I know it is flying off the shelves and once sold, thats it!
Kiss Trio lashes |
3. KISS Individual Trio Lashes link!
You all know that I love individual lashes and I first spotted these particular ones in the US during the summer so when I found them in the UK I bought some more as they are so good! They are 3 individual lashes in one cluster which makes them the easiest lashes to apply and ones that anyone can do! Just a few of these scattered throughout your own natural lashes or just on the ends of each eye for a winged out effect just gives you subtle glamour when you want a boost to your lashes without the full on lash look. I go for the shorter length so it keeps it all looking natural during the daytime which makes them virtually undetectable too. Check these ones out if you struggle with lashes or need a lash boost.

4. Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love link!
I never thought that there would be a blush that rivals my beloved Hourglass Luminous Flush but I have to say I have found one. Ever since the Too Faced Love Flush range launched I fell in love as is this not the cutest packaging ever! there are 6 shades that come in this pretty heart shaped, magnetic compact that fits perfectly into the palm of your hand. The powder formulation is incredible. It is insanely pigmented so only a tiny amount is needed, buttery soft, finely milled and available in the nicest colour range I have ever seen. It claims to be 16 hour long wear thats weightless and I have to agree that they certainly are long lasting as I haven't once had to touch my blush up whilst wearing this. One shade that I have been wearing daily is Baby Love, a dusty nude with a golden touch that is the perfect everyday shade when you need just a little something on the cheeks to brighten and lift your whole look. I cannot recommend these blushers enough, they are just incredible.
Nars Dual Intensity Blush, Jubilation |
Nars Dual Intensity Blush, Jubilation |
5. Nars Dual-Intensity Blush in Jubilation link!
Another brand whose cheek products I adore (aswell as the entire range) is Nars. I have always worn Nars blushers going back to my Space NK days and these dual intensity blushers consist of two purely pigmented shades that are designed to give customised colour. You can use them however you choose wherever you choose; with both shades mixed both together or as two shades separately as well as wet or dry to give the most luminous finish to your skin. This shade, Jubilation is a stunning rose gold that isn't too pink or orange and gives the most beautiful golden glow to your cheeks and eyes with just the perfect amount of shimmer that's not glittery just super luminous. I used this whilst on holiday and I cannot beleive I had overlooked it in my stocks as it really is super pretty.
Sephora Pro Precision Powder Brush #59 |
6. Sephora Pro Precision Powder Brush #59 link!
I love the Sephora Pro Brush line as the brushes are so luxurious, easy to use and deliver great results. I am growing my collection of them so whilst shopping in the Dubai Mall I spotted this powder brush. I love the fact that this is tapered at the end which makes this perfect, as the name suggests, for precision with powders such a bronzer so you can focus it on key areas of the face. If you are looking to invest in some good brushes then I highly recommend this Pro line as opposed to the normal line as although they may be a tad more expensive, they stay as good as new and give you great makeup results.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip liner East End Snob |
7. Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner link!
My favourite lipliners are by Charlotte Tilbury and MAC as I have often mentioned about them here on my blog but an amazing high street/drugstore alternative that has really wowed me are these retractable lip liners by Rimmel. They are honestly amazing. Matte, long lasting, glide on with ease, have an insane amount of colour and all this for less than £4! They have been a staple in my makeup bag of late and my two favourite shades that work with most of my lip colours are addiction, a brown nude and East End Snob, a dusky pink that looks great all over the lip with a gloss too! I shall be stocking up on a few more shades of these thats for sure.
