Being a beauty blog, I rarely write about anything other than beauty as it is of course my sole passion and life but so is living in the South of France, hence why I feel it very appropriate to tell you all about something exciting that encapsulates the French way of living.

Now I for one love luxurious things (in case you didn't know) and other than beauty this next product fits right into that description. Living in Monaco and being in the South of France you get to see some real individuality and are truly spoilt when it comes to luxury, whether it be the surroundings, flash cars, designer stores, Sephora (of course) and most of all, food. One thing I know I would miss about living in the South of France is the amazing restaurants and quality of food and wine as it's like no other. This takes me onto a company that are very unique and make it possible for everyone to have a true taste of France delivered straight to your door, wherever in the world you may be.

Maison del Gusto have designed personalised, luxurious handmade boxes combining food, wine and artisan beers. With an array of delicious treats such as truffle oils, pastas, herbal teas, chocolates, snacks, wines, biscuits ... there is something to tempt everyone whether you are a sweet or savoury lover. Each beautiful wooden box is handmade in Italy complete with it's own unique number stamped onto the top.

Now you know I am all about 'attention to detail' so I love the logo packaging details as it feels just like you have taken the time and wrapped up a gift for someone special. The box itself is very clean and understated for those who appreciate quality. It was fairly heavy -  which of course excited me even more!

If you are into dark chocolate then I highly recommend that you try this Bonajuto as my god, its incredible! The lemon is my favourite and it's the nicest 'healthy' chocolate I have ever tried and that bar was the first thing that disappeared from my box! I then proceeded straight to the website to see about ordering some more bars because it is honestly that good.

 Well it is safe to say I love my Gusto Box. I am so impressed by the whole package and quality of it's contents, so much so I did not want to delve into it straight away as it looked too nice to disturb! Everything inside is delicious and the perfect mix of sweet and savoury as I love both equally. The Bonjuto chocolate and the beautiful Chateau Les Crostes Rosé are incredible, both of which I can certainly highly recommend! This to me is how the french do a picnic, forget soggy sandwiches, only the very best is invited into a prestigious hamper. I think this is such a unique gift idea and something very special to receive as it's a bit different and much more personal. You then have the bonus of your gorgeous box to use afterwards, mine shall mostly involve make-up storage I am sure.

On the Maison del Gusto website there is the option to order boxes that have already been made up by theme i.e. tea selection, beer selection, snack selection and so on or you can personalise and custom create your own. You can set a taste and budget and Maison del Gusto shall put together your perfect box! Prices vary really on the contents of your box and size of box as they are available in small and large, but are great value for money considering this is Monaco and everything is expensive! What really impressed me is the option to make a Bepsoke Company Gusto Box where you can include your company card, brochure or company logo - a fantastic idea for any business that wants that real personal touch.
