The BB Cream hype is still very current and with many beauty brands now introducing us to 'CC Creams' it makes you wonder .... am I missing out here?
I must admit I haven't been a great fan of Beauty Balms as I haven't found one that has wow-ed me enough to buy or use it .... until now that is.

What is a BB Cream? (in case you don't know)
BB cream stands for blemish balm or beauty balm and was originally and still is a huge selling beauty product in Korea. BB Cream is promoted as an all in one facial product to replace serum, moisturiser, primer, foundation and sunblock. They also claim to help diminish pigmentation and even out skin tone with its light reflecting properties. It can be worn alone as a tint, over a serum and moisturiser like a regular foundation and under powder depending on what coverage you like.

I received many weeks ago now a luxury trial size (25ml) in a glossy box, which was the perfect size to see if this could be a product to convert me over to BB creams and guess what ... it did of course.

The cream itself has almost a grey-ish tint to it, then as you start to blend it into your skin it soon adapts to your own individual skin tone (similar to Estee Lauders day wear tint). As you can see from the pictures above the bb cream really does make a noticeable difference to the skin, making it instantly look more even, hydrated, fresh looking with just the right hint of colour and coverage. 
What makes Dr Jart+ so great I hear you ask?

This really is a beautiful product and it gives some other luxury branded tinted moisturisers a run for their money as this one adds so many other benefits to your skin. This is a product that absolutely anyone can use, even the males out there and takes seconds to apply. Dr Jart really do have a great product and one that I can't recommend enough.

If like me, you really didn't get 'the whole BB cream hype' or you just didn't like other brands you may have tried in the past then definitely try this one out if you are looking for a new summer make up base or spf. I personally recommend doing all your skincare steps as per usual first, then using this as your base and sunscreen as your skincare is much more targeted in one area, so this shall be the prefect addition to follow.
